The keyboard isn't backlit sadly, something I would have expected at this price point ($842 for 16GB DDR4-3200 RAM, Geforce MX 570 and 1 TB Crucial P3 SSD). Possibly IPS (don't remember angling the lid too much to get a better view). Just a run of the mill 45% NTSC, as far as I could tell. The display wasn't anything out of the ordinary. The kind of experience I would have expected from an AMD laptop, not an Intel one. I think I heard the fans ramp up for a few seconds once or twice at most, despite benchmarking on it for hours. The silver metallic (probably some alloy) casing doubles as a heatsink and radiates the heat of the internal components pretty well. Thanks to being fairly heavy, it would definitely work as a murder weapon with a blow to the head. It was going to someone else but I asked the IT guy to let me have it for a few hours.įirst, let's get the physical attributes out of the way. It shouldn’t be about trying to save shrines just to finish the map.Managed to spend some quality time with this laptop at the office. Swapping defensive gear means you live longer but you can’t kill as fast and you start having the timers run out. This is broken.ĪOZ should be about beating the clock where you must balanced your defensive gear vs damage gear. This RNG shouldn’t happen in a balanced game. I can get 1 shot by the blowing up imps and 1 shot by blowing up boss mobs. I can still get 1 shot by some of the guardians at the end depending on the affixs. I use + armor when bleeding and + armor when damaging mobs. I have max resist, 11k armor and 19k life. I have 1 uber unique (the helm) with every item defensive stats (all items on chest and legs are + to damage reduction). I don’t get how they failed so badly at AOZ when they did greater rifts in Diablo 3. They need to stop listening to this person or group. Their is some blow hard in the meetings that wants to shut down type A players, they listen to whomever this is until the players all respond negatively. Every push build I have seen is HOTA or ball lightning which pretty much confirms they never look at gameplay as a whole. They need to focus on the overall player experience, which includes non meta builds on classes that are well below the power of the top builds. If you play anything else your experience and grind will be much more painful and it is already slow and painful enough on HOTA. The diablo team foolishly geared this towards two strong builds, the main being HOTA barb. Event with shako and melting heart I still get one shotted regularly on t7+. The experience on my sorcerer though has been completely different. Have only died twice so far to some random BS. I have a strong HOTA barb build will every Uber you need to be unkillable. Generally speaking, the devs continue to miss on the player perspective. Cleared tier 12 and I think that will be enough for me this season. I agree in part, I am at level 21 on my heart and the grind beyond this seems pointless for something that will go away in a few weeks. When the screen become dark immediately teleport out, enter from the entrance again, pull the boss one by one and use the shrine if you struggle. simple trick to kill 3 bosses when you don’t have Ubers, save the shrines for the bosses. Come to think of it, I can’t feel any joys like from the previous Diablo gene, just everything is bored af, vampire? Builds? Story? Gears? It is so empty… maybe I am just too old. Or even just quit and come back after a year or something. For the rest, just dump the game find something else to do, like…play this forum, or wait for the winter event or the next season. It is already end of the season soon the Uber or glyph will be useless, so they need this. Don’t be mad, the AoZ is a hamster wheel for those Uber unique wearers, blizzard need to give them something to satisfy the mental needs after the long horrendous grinding (or keeping bug farmers alive, yes they still selling mats for duriel) while give them absolutely 0 rewards.
